30.36% of takers pass CPA board exam

A total of 2,239 out of 7,376 takers or 30.36% passed the May 2023 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday, May 31.

Alexander Salvador Centino Bandiola Jr. of the University of the Cordilleras topped the licensure exam with a rating of 89.50.

He was followed by Rayhanah Nuestro Decampong of the De La Salle University at second who tallied 89.33.

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines Diliman, which fielded 59 examinees, posted a passing percentage of 93.22.

The CPALE was conducted on May 21 to 23.
