31 RITM staff recover from COVID-19

31 staff of the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM) who have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have recovered.

Said personnel have resumed in processing COVID-19 tests which are now expected to be uninterrupted.

Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire clarified that the RITM staff have not contracted the virus through the processing of tests.

The test results of the remaining 9 RITM personnel are still pending. – PTV News
