4 drug suspects nabbed

TACURONG CITY — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Friday four people, including a father and son, during a drug buy-bust operation at Purok Rosas, Barangay Buenaflor here.

PDEA-12 Director Gil Cesario Castro identified the arrested suspects as John Michael Ulangkaya, 23, his father Angelito Ulangkaya 57, Freeman Ulangkaya, 38, all residents of Barangay Katunggal, GM Homes Zone 1, Tacurong City and businessman Rahib Abdullatif, 30 of Barangay Malingao, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

The raiding team seized from the suspects 30 grams of shabu contained in several sachets with a street value of Php300,000.
Dried marijuana leaves and shabu paraphernalia were also recovered from the suspects.

Charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects who are now detained at PDEA-12 lock-up cell. (PNA)
