4 high-value individuals arrested in Davao del Sur

Four high-value individuals were arrested in a drug-den raid on Friday, Aug. 12, in Davao del Sur.

The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Bansalan Municipal Police Station, and PDEA Davao Del Sur joined forces in arresting the three suspects.

A total of P180,000.00 were recovered from the arrested individuals. They will face charges in violation of the Republic Act 9165.

According to PNP Chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr.,  the arrested suspects are considered as high profile individuals.

Azurin added that their anti-narcotics drive will strengthen the public’s confidence in nation building.

“These are high profile suspects. This is a major leap in our goal to curb this social menace. The campaign against criminality goes on with a shared vision to bolster public confidence geared towards social and economic growth,” he said. –KC/gb
