561-K doses of US-donated Pfizer vaccine arrive in PH

Another batch of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine delivery from the COVAX Facility arrived here on Monday (Sept. 20) evening.

More than 561,000 doses of the said vaccine landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 around 9:20 PM tonight.

These vaccine doses are part of the donation of the US government through COVAX, which is part of the 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine donation expected from COVAX, National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr. said.

As of the latest update from NTF Adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa in today’s Laging Handa public briefing, at least 62 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in the Philippines.
