78 BI employees test positive for COVID-19

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has confirmed that 78 employees have tested positive for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to the BI administration, the employees affected by the virus are rank and file employees. In their recent data, 29 employees who tested positive have recovered and only 1 is in the hospital while 44 are in a quarantine facility.

76 employees have been ordered to go on home quarantine after having direct contact with those who tested positive. 58 of them have been allowed to return to work.
