8 digit landline number in effect

The additional digit in landline numbers takes effect today (October 6) upon the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). Globe subscribers with “02” area code will include “7” before their existing telephone number while PLDT users will receive the number “8” before theirs.
