8 domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA — Eight domestic flights to and from Manila and Tuguegarao, and between Manila and Busuanga were cancelled as of Wednesday afternoon due to harsh weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

Cancelled flights were Cebu Pacific (5J) 504/505 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila; CebGo (DG) 6041/6042, DG 6057/6058 and Skyjet (M8) 715/716 Manila-Busuanga-Manila.

Latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tropical Storm Jongdari (international name) maintains its strength as it moves north northeastward.
