2017 Miss Scuba Philippines Press Presentation, a success!

 PASAY CITY—Beauty, tenacity, wit, and a heart for nature.

Fifteen dazzling women paraded over the press and guests as the official candidates of the upcoming Miss Scuba Philippines 2017 at the Belmont Hotel, Newport Boulevard, Pasay City on Thursday.

With the theme “Saving Oceans through Beauty,” This pageant stands out from others through its advocacy of worldwide marine conservation and the awe and adventure of scuba diving as represented by the modern woman.

Among the captivating ladies who made it to the finals are: Karren Arias, Kristine Eiriel Nolasco, Nicole Mariveles, Lorin Talosig, Helga Cerbo, Aliyana Ibnohajil, Angela Gene Reeder Valdez, Jolina Ann Roque, Ellen Holman, Mirtle Gimenez, Danica Acuña, Aivana Elma, Mary Maureen Quimbao, El Fel Banaybanay, and Sherlyn Legaspi Doloriel.

The candidates also underwent intense scuba diving training in preparation for the future Miss Scuba Philippines Ambassador’s campaign and advocacy for Marine Conservation, Scuba diving and Sustainable Marine Tourism.

Ms. Scuba Philippines Director and 2015 Miss Scuba International Cindy Pacia Madumma expressed her confidence that through the pageant, they will be able to select the candidate that will best represent the country in the 7th Edition of Miss Scuba International 2017 to be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

“I am proud of the 15 quality candidates that will fight for the crown in the Miss Scuba Philippines 2017. Talagang they went through an intensive screening and question and answer assessment process. I am confident na madaming candidates na deserving to represent the country,” she said.

The 2017 Miss Scuba Philippines Finals will be held at The Plaza, Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila on the 8th of October, 7pm. | Meg Siozon, PTV Sports
