TACURONG CITY, Sultan Kudarat – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Kidapawan City has released the names of registered voters of the city and their respective voting centers ahead of the May 13 polls this year.

Kidapawan City has 84,652 registered voters in 40 barangays, who are expected to cast their votes to choose public officials during the midterm elections slated next month.

In a statement posted on its social media page and at the Kidapawan City Comelec office, election officials advised registered voters to come and visit their office at the back of the city gymnasium to check their names and voting centers.

“Voters are advised to check specifically their voting precinct, not just the voting center, so they will not spend time searching for their precincts on election day,” said Diosdado Javier, Kidapawan acting election officer.

“The list publication also aims to make election matters simpler for the electorate,” the poll official added.

The voters’ list posted in front of Kidapawan Comelec office contains the names, residence, barangay, precinct number and voter’s number of every registered voter.

Javier said Comelec staff members are tasked to assist voters who would come to the poll office to check their names and assigned voting center.
