The city government, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council, is sponsoring the event, said Maria Socorro Pastor Mira, who heads the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in this provincial capital, on Tuesday.

According to her, 25 employers will sit down with job seekers for the event and nine partner agencies from the different government offices will provide their services.

These agencies include the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Overseas Workers Welfare Association, DOLE, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Postal Office, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and the Philippine Statistics Office.

Job applicants may pre-register for the event by visiting the PESO office at the 2nd floor, Bldg. II of the Dumaguete Public Market Complex, Mira said.
