CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Some 3,000 jobs await applicants in this year’s Job and Business Fair in line with the celebration of the 121st Philippine Independence Day in Central Luzon, an official of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) here said on Monday.

The event will be held at the 2nd floor of the Harbor Point, Ayala Mall, Subic Bay Freeport Zone on June 12.

DOLE Regional Director Maria Zenaida Angara-Campita said all job vacancies solicited were intended for local employment from 73 participating companies from various industries.

Campita said among the in-demand jobs available are production operator and call center agents.

Other jobs available, she said, are merchandiser, customer service, administrative staff, utility service crew, accounting staff, sales clerk, cashier, and encoder.

She asked all applicants to be ready with the application requirements such as resume or curriculum vitae, diploma and/or transcript of records and authenticated-birth certificate.

“Be ready with not just one but extra copies of your resume for multiple job applications,” Campita told reporters.

The Job and Business Fair is in cooperation with the Public Employment Service Office of Olongapo, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Ayala Malls, Department of Public Works and Highways, and the Department of Trade and Industry, among others.

Campita said partner agencies like the Social Security System, PhilHealth, and Home Development Mutual Fund will be present at the event to provide pre-employment services for job seekers.
