ITCZ to bring scattered rains over VisMin, Mimaropa Tuesday

Ma. Cristina Arayata/Philippine News Agency

MANILA — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mimaropa, Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau said on Tuesday.

The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, added the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow over the entire archipelago with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
