BACOLOD CITY — The province of Negros Occidental and its 31 component cities and municipalities will get a total of PHP16.639 billion in Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) shares for the fiscal year 2020.

This is based on the 12.75 percent increase that will take effect next year.

Based on the comparative figures provided by the provincial government on Wednesday, Negros Occidental will receive almost PHP3.726 billion in 2020, with an increase of PHP421.447 million, from this year’s PHP3.304 billion.
