The Department of Agriculture has confirmed that 5 locations have been affected by the mysterious disease that kills pigs. However, the agency assured that the situation is under control. As a part of quarantine and safety procedures, backyard farmers are advised to have their pigs culled following protocol whether or not they are infected as long as they are within the 1-kilometer radius of the affected areas.
