Three Mt. Apo trails to reopen this month

Three trails to ascend Mt. Apo are set to reopen after being closed to trekkers for 5 months. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 11 kept the mountain off from visitors to prevent forest fires at the onset of the El NiƱo phenomenon in April. Trekkers are advised to secure proper permits from local government units before taking the trails.
