ZAMBOANGA CITY — An in-depth investigation is being conducted to identify those involved in a roadside explosion near the residence of a mayor in Basilan province, a police official disclosed Friday.

The explosion happened at around 6 p.m. Thursday at Purok Rubber in Barangay Sumagda in Isabela City, the capital of Basilan province.
