Gilas Pilipinas fails to win FIBA World Cup

Gilas Pilipinas failed to score a single win during the FIBA World Cup in Beijing, China. The national basketball team’s recent loss against Iran relegated them to the 29th to 32nd place in final ranking. This also dimmed their chances of making it to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament unless FIBA selects the Philippine squad for the wild card slot.
