PRRD orders the creation of child labor council

Pres. Duterte, in shunning child labor in the country, has signed Executive Order No. 92 that establishes the National Council against Child Labor. The move versus youth labor will be spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment and Department of Social Welfare and Development, with the help of several government arms. The Chief Executive mandates the council to spread the knowledge on child labor, identify such cases, and device measures in thwarting the practice.
