IP leaders to continue telling truth vs NPA atrocities

Leaders of indigenous peoples (IPs) returned to the Philippines on October 4 after a successful Europe mission called “Breaking the silence, telling the truth.” The campaign is composed of 8 IP leaders dubbed as ambassadors of truth who had the courage to tell their stories about the atrocities of the CPP-NPA in their communities to organizations such as the United Nations, International Fund for Agricultural Development, European Union, groups of foreign funders, world leaders and Filipino communities. Despite under threat themselves, the IP leaders were out to stop the rebels from oppressing and exploiting their people as they asked the international community to stop funding leftist groups.
