“Sabayang-patak” reaches Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City

The Department of Health (DOH) has conducted its “Sabayang-patak” vaccination program against polio in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City, where children have received the preemptive substance. Scheduled on October14 to 17 and November 25 to December 7,2019, “Sabayang-patak”, the vaccine is made available at the nearest health centers for children aged five years old and below. The health department aims to immunize 100 million children in Metro Manila to help counter the polio outbreak raised last month. The DOH advises the public that the disease can also be prevented by maintaining proper personal hygiene.
