Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has fired Atty. Pedro Aquino, Jr., as president and chief executive officer of the Philippine National Oil Company Exploration Corporation due to loss of confidence. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo maintains that the Administration is stern in its drive against corruption. Panelo reminds all officials and employees of government to be mindful of the law and stay away from illegitimate acts because no one is exempted from the consequences.
