PRRD expresses dismay over ninja cops, corrupt officials

Despite figuring in a motorcycle mishap, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte made it to the 45th Philippine Business Conference and Expo in Manila where he lashed out at rogue cops involved in the illegal drugs trade. He also warned government officials and employees to do away with red tape. The Chief Executive cited Philippine National Oil Company Exploration Corporation President Pedro Aquino whom he fired over an alleged “idiotic” contract with a Russian oil company, an example of how serious he is in getting rid of graft and corruption in his administration.
