Vice President Robredo will decide on co-chairmanship of anti-illegal drugs committee

The team of Vice President Leonor “Leni” Robredo has confirmed that it received the letter pertaining to the designation of the veep as co-chairperson, Inter-agency Committee on Anti-illegal Drugs; however, it cannot confirm yet if the Vice President will accept the post. Vice Presidential Spokesperson Ibarra “Barry” Gutierrez elucidated that the designation was meaningless, and Malacañan did not seem serious on it. He added that when it comes to illegal drug issues, Vice President Robredo is indeed earnest.

Tomorrow, November 05, 2019, the Vice President lays down her recommendation in improving the government’s campaign against illegal drugs to President Rodrigo Duterte.
