DND budget ratified in Congress; AFP-Dito Telecommunity deal scrutinized

The PHP100.90 billion budget of the Department of National Defense sponsored by Senator Panfilo Lacson has been approved by the Senate of the Philippines. The Upper House also delved deeper into the agreement between the Armed Forces of the Phililppines (AFP) and Chinese firm Dito Telecommunity, which involves the erection of towers in military stations.
