PRRD to Sison: Come here for a one-on-one discussion

The Malacañan stated that President Rodrigo Duterte challenges Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Founding Chairperson Jose Maria Sison to come back to the Philippines in order for the peace negotiation to proceed. “The President is daring him to come home to the Philippines and have a one-on-one talk with President, even before this panel. No government panel involved. No panel of the communist side,” averred Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo. The palace, further, assured that if Sison does so, there will be no warrant of arrest issued against him. The return to the Philippines, moreover, will corroborate the CPP spearhead’s sincerity. The communist group’s violation of the cease-fire was one of the causes of the dare.
