PRRD to tour PH amid COVID-19 threat

Pres. Rodrigo R. Duterte has planned to visit tourist destinations in the Philippines to boost local tourism amid the COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) threat.

The Chief Executive has sent a message inviting Filipinos to join him in his trips to different places in the Philippines.

The President is said to visit Boracay, Cebu, and Bohol in the next few weeks.

According to Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Arturo Boncato Jr., the planned trips of the President has been based on his schedule.

However, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo believes that the places the President plans to visit will be crammed with visitors.
