Palace lauds SWS results on Robredo, Sotto, Cayetano, Peralta

Malacañang has expressed delight over the high net satisfaction rating of Vice President Leni Robredo, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, and Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

“Ibig sabihin, ang pananaw ng mga natanungan, nakita nilang nag-iimprove ‘yung performance ng mga taong ‘yan. (This means that it is the respondents’ opinion that the performance of these people have been improving.) Good for them,” Panelo said.

The SWS survey on the performance of top government officials in the fourth quarter of 2019 conducted from December 13 to 16, 2019, showed the net satisfaction rating of Robredo remained “Good” in which 59 percent of the respondents said they are satisfied while 23 percent are not.

Sotto’s rating stayed at “Very Good” in which 73 percent of the participants expressed satisfaction while 10 percent believed otherwise.

Meanwhile, the rating of House Speaker Cayetano rose from “Good” to “Very Good,” while CJ Peralta gained a “Moderate” first rating.

The survey used a face-to-face interview with 1,200 adults and has a ±3 percent margin of error. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
