Voter’s registration abroad continues despite COVID-19

Amidst the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, the registration of voters overseas continues.

According to Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, the agency has no plans to cancel the voter’s registration for overseas Filipinos so they can participate in the 2022 elections.

The agency aims to achieve 2,000,000 registrations abroad and is encouraging Fiipinos living or working overseas to register at the nearest Philippine embassy worldwide.
