PH crime rate drops by 56 percent due to ECQ

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has reported the constant drop in the country’s crime rate.

According to PNP Chief Police General Archie Gamboa, the crime rate has lowered by 56 percent after implementing the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon.

He added that the implementation of the ECQ by the security forces is considered successful due to the decrease in the number of crimes.

However, over 71,000 individuals have violated the curfew hours in the country. – Report from Bea Bernardo
