BIR extends ITR filing deadline anew

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has postponed anew the deadline on the filing of income tax return (ITR) to June 14 through Revenue Regulation (RR) No. 11-2020.

Aside from ITR, the BIR also extended the deadline on the filing of value added tax returns and other tax types. The move is in consideration of taxpayers amid the ongoing health crisis in the country.

The deadline was originally set on April 15 and was extended to May 15, and then moved to May 30 due to the earlier extension of the enhanced community quarantine.
