NCRPO distributes relief goods to residents affected by ECQ

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has started to distribute relief goods to residents gravely affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine as a support to the program “Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko” of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

According to NCRPO Chief Debold Sinas, it is a way for the police to empathize with the citizens in need. The food packs contain husked rice (bigas), sardines, and noodles.

The Chief of Police in every area, with the help of the barangay, has picked the poorest residents to receive relief goods every week until the end of the ECQ.

PNP personnel have distributed food packs in Maharlika Village in Taguig City, Brgy. Culiat, and in Sitio San Roque in Brgy. Bagong Pag-Asa. The police officers have ensured that they implement social distancing in their distribution.
