3 mayors in favor of GCQ for Metro Manila on June

Three mayors are in favor of placing Metro Manila under General Community Quarantine on June.

According to Metro Manila Council Chairman and Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez, the effect of the lockdown for several months has been hefty on businesses.

Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian and Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco have agreed with MMC Chairman Olivarez.

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año is also in favor of placing Metro Manila under GCQ when the situation is more stable.
