DOLE creates task force focusing on OFWs

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has created a task force that aims to focus on Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) arriving and leaving different quarantine facilities.

DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III aims to facilitate the travel of the OFWs from the facilities to their homes. However, he clarified that DOLE and OWWA have no control in the testing and releasing of the clearance.

DOLE has also formed another task group to expedite the process of sending OFWs out of the country.

The labor department has created the task forces to save Filipinos from losing their jobs while the national government is continuously helping arriving OFWs.
