Malacañang reiterated that the government’s treatment of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) returning to their respective provinces is fair despite the accusations.
Based on the recent data, the OFWs who have been brought back to their provinces have reached 22,426 as of 6:00 A.M., May 30.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, in accordance with President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s order, the OFWs are well taken care of. They are seen as VIPs by the government.
(We have sent home all of our workers, we gave them free PCR testing, free transportation via airplane, bus, and ship. That is not garbage-like treatment, it is VIP treatment.)” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque pointed out.
