PRRD thanks King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa for granting royal pardon to 16 Filipinos

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has expressed gratitude towards King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa for granting royal pardon to 16 Filipinos in Bahrain.
 
“His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa’s forgiveness paves the way for the release of these 16 Filipinos and their return to the Philippines in due course. This act of humanity by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa provides renewed hope and an opportunity for our countrymen and women to build new lives.”
 
In the released statement of Malacañang, President Duterte trusts this act of kindness is a proof of a strong relation of the Philippines and Bahrain.
 
Giving importance to his harmonious relationship with the King, the Chief Executive ensures the continuous unity and strengthened bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
