LTO suspends issuing of student driver’s permits

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will suspend the issuance of student driver’s permits effective July 1. LTO Chief Edgar Galvante said those who will be getting student permits must undergo a 15-hour theoretical driving course by August wherein rules and regulation in driving will be studied.

Meanwhile, the LTO and some driving schools will be coordinating on where aspiring learners of driving will be enrolled. – PTV News
