MMDA Headquarters suspends operations on July 9, 10

The operation of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Headquarters will be suspended on July 9 and 10 to give way for a complete disinfection of its facilities after 4 of its personnel have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim stated that operations in all their offices will be halted on Thursday and Friday. All employees will be going home on Wednesday afternoon. The MMDA assured that it will resume operations on Monday after the sanitation and disinfection of the whole building is done. – Report from Mica Joson
