DTI supports DOF ban online selling of liquor and cigarettes

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) supports the measure of the Department of Finance (DOF) to prohibit the selling of liquor and cigarettes online.

According to DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, online selling of liquor and cigarettes must be prohibited especially if it is unregistered and there is no certainty on the buyer’s age or on the product’s standard compliance.
