IATF to decide on quarantine recommendation

The Inter-Agency Task Force will finalize today its recommendation on the classification of community quarantine to be implemented starting July 16.

In the case of Metro Manila, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said they are not too keen on the possibility of easing restrictions given the continuous increase in COVID-19 cases.

Secretary Roque also pointed out that under the new system implemented by Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega, the situation on critical care capacity will be addressed.

Meanwhile, Malacañang assured the government will stand firm on the rights of the country amid the issue on the disputed territories in the West Philippines Sea.

As for the upcoming SONA of the President, Sec. Roque shared that the country continues to win the fight against prohibited drugs. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
