PRRD on Ninoy Aquino Day: May we emulate Ninoy’s courage and patriotism

President Rodrigo R. Duterte honors the celebration of Ninoy Aquino Day.

“As this important occasion is remembered during this time that we are facing a global health crisis, may we emulate Ninoy’s courage and patriotism.”

The Chief Executive also calls on the public to continue cooperating with the government to ensure the safety of each Filipino.

Ninoy Aquino was killed on August 21, 1983, a day that was mourned by many Filipinos and paved the way to the EDSA People Power Revolution that toppled former President Ferdinand Marcos from the seat of power.
