PRRD dismisses revolutionary government pushed by MRRD-NECC

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has distanced himself from the move pushing for a revolutionary government by the Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte-National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC).

The MRRD-NECC wishes to hasten Federalism in the Philippines and to extend the term of the Chief Executive.

However, President Duterte pointed out that he has nothing to do with the group. “Marami ngayon may naglalabas — revolutionary government. Wala akong pakialam niyan. Wala akong kilala na mga tao na ‘yan at hindi ko ‘yan trabaho. (There are those [who push for] revolutionary government. I don’t care about that. I don’t know those people and that is not my work).”
