Statement of Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar on COA’s report citing NIB, BCS, and PBS-RTVM for the unqualified audit opinion

The unqualified audit opinion issued by COA to BCS, NIB, and PBS-RTVM is considered to be the best citation a government agency can receive from COA on matters of appropriately presenting their respective financial statements during an audit.

The collective commitment of the PCOO and its attached agencies to provide full accountability and transparency on how our expenditure of public funds, reflects highly the Duterte administration’s fight against corruption. We will continue to ensure that no taxpayer’s money is wasted on unnecessary or anomalous transactions or end up lining the pockets of unscrupulous government officials.
