Boxing champ and Senator Manny Pacquiao is set to face one of the big names in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Connor McGregor after Pacquiao’s camp confirmed that there is an ongoing negotiation for the boxing champ to fight McGregor.
According to Jayke Joson, Pacquiao’s special assistant, the lawyers of both camps are only finalizing “confidential details”. He stated that a large portion of Pacquiao’s earnings from the fight will go to Filipinos gravely affected by the pandemic.
He also added that the Senator does not wish to talk about the match yet since he is focused on helping Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients.
