PRRD wants proposed 2021 national budget prioritized

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stressed in his press briefing the call of President Rodrigo R. Duterte to prioritize the passing of the proposed 2021 national budget over the house speakership at the Lower Chamber of Congress.

Pres. Spox. Roque has pointed out that “in principle, the President does not want to be involved in politics.”

“Dala na po siya dahil wala pong tigil ang politika riyan sa Kamara. Wala po siyang pinapanigan at this point. Ang gusto lang niya ay mapasa ang COVID-19 budget. (He has had it with the endless politics at the (Lower) Chamber. He is not siding with anyone at this point. All he wants is the COVID-19 budget,” Secretary Roque disclosed. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
