4 inmates in Caloocan jailbreak still at large

The manhunt operation continues for the prisoners who escaped through a wall in a custodial facility in Caloocan City last week as four escapees remain at large.

The inmates are Martin Mama,a suspect for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165; Norbert Alvarez, a suspect for violating Art. 151 of RPC and RA 9165; and robbery and theft suspects Gerry Mat Patilla and Raymond Balasa.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is appealing to the public to report the whereabouts of the escapees.

Nine of the persons under police custody (PUPCS) involved in the jailbreak have already been rearrested. They are Harris T. Danacao, Reymark Delos B. Reyes, Arnel S. Buccat, Reynaldo Bantiling, Hudson R. Jeng, Jovel Toledo Jr., Justine P. Tejeros, Aldwin Joey C. Espila, and Mark Oliver B. Gamutia.

Meanwhile, Caloocan police chief PCol. Dario Menor was reassigned at the directorate for logistics. He will be replaced by PCol. Samuel Mina Jr. – Report from Bea Bernardo
