PRRD to publicly name corrupt gov’t officials, workers regularly

President Rodrigo Duterte will keep on announcing to the public the names of government officials and employees involved in anomalies and corruption.

“The next round will be in December. Many will lose their jobs, many will be separated from government, many will face prosecution, and many will go to jail. Iyan ang sabihin ko (that’s what I am saying),” President Duterte warned earlier this week.

The names included in the list have already undergone thorough investigation by concerned agencies. It also identified those facing charges filed by the Office of the Ombudsman.

“Tuloy-tuloy po ‘yang papangalanan ni Pangulo ngayong buwan na ‘to, sa susunod na buwan, tuwing mayroong makakasuhan at masususpinde ang Ombudsman (The President will continue to name them publicly this month and the coming month, and every time someone is sued and suspended by the Ombudsman),” Sen. Bong Go stated.

“Dadaan po sa due process ang lahat. ‘Di niya po papangalanan ‘yung based on hearsay (All will undergo due process. He will not name those based on hearsay),” Go assured.

The Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) disclosed that aside from those in PhilHealth and Bureau of Immigration, names from the Bureau of Customs, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) have been added.

The list contains names of department undersecretaries and assistant secretaries. President Duterte has already ordered audit and lifestyle check to ensure that no one is spared.
