Cagayan is preparing for TY Siony;s landfall
Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba disclosed that the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) is on red alert status for the possible impact of Siony to the province. The quick response team is in full force to conduct needed operations once the Siony arrives. The QRT’s tools are also prepared for rescue operations in affected areas.
The local government has assured that it has been careful in identifying evacuation centers following the threat of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This came with reminders from authorities for residents to be always alert.
