PNP Chief Sinas orders BMI monitoring of police officers

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will revive the weight monitoring of its personnel.

PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas has ordered the monitoring of the body mass index (BMI) of police officers to ensure that they are not obese. He warned that obesity may cause diabetes and heart diseases.

The PNP Chief proudly disclosed that he is strictly following his diet and exercise regimen at the age of 55. He challenged the ranks to do the same.

An initial report has showed that over 30 PNP members have failed the fitness and BMI test early 2020. – PTV News
