BIR extends TAD, VAPP

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) extended its Tax Amnesty on Delinquencies and Voluntary Assessment Payment program until June 2021 from its initial deadline on December 31, 2020.

The BIR issued the new regulation by virtue of the provision under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act wherein deadlines are extended to ease the hardship of taxpayers caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

As of November 30, 2020, the BIR has collected ₱3.4 billion from the Tax Amnesty program.
